Historian, professor, and bestselling author Antony Beevor is known, among other things, for his numerous works on the Second World War. Beevor will arrive at Helsinki Lit to discuss his new book Rasputin and the Downfall of the Romanovs, which will be published in Finnish (translated by Jouni Avelin) in spring 2026. The work is a biography of Rasputin, one of the most mythical figures in Russian history.
