Naja Marie Aidt


Naja Marie Aidt, born in Greenland in 1963, debuted as a writer in 1991. She was awarded the Nordic Council’s Award for her short story collection Baboon in 2006. Aidt has received numerous literary prizes in Denmark. Her latest novel, Carl’s Book  is an autofictive novel dealing with the author’s adult son’s sudden death in 2015. Carl’s Book was originally published in 2017 and will be published in Finnish in March 2018 and later this year in English. The Finnish translation is made by Katriina Huttunen.
